Poem Analysis Comparison

I believe that me and Jessica had the same thoughts about the poem. I think she's right people do come to expect things but those dreams end up getting ruined.

The theme of the poem "Immigrants in our own Land" By Jimmy Santiago Baca to me is that things don't also go the way you want them to go

His tone to me sounds serious

His mood seems sad and depressing

Simile is one of the literary devices Baca uses. "They used common sense like scholars use glasses and books to reach the world."

An Earth Shattering Fart

I loved this story it was amazing. It kept me interested and wanting to keep reading more unlike most stories. I think we should read more stories like this. I liked how the story showed that doing one little thing can effect the present and future.

For the project on wrapping up Emerson I plan on writing his quotes that stand out to me and pinning them up on the wall because the classroom looks boring when people walk in and having posters with color on the wall will make the room seem fun.

We all know Donald Trump is a venomous person. in the other hand Hilary is a stolid person compared to Trump. Trump looked hypnotized during the debate. Trump shall be suspended. Trump transformed the debate into a joke. he accused people all the time. He starts to anticipate things that aren't going to happen. he plans to build a fringe between Mexico and the U.S. he makes people feel melancholy. Trump never speaks earnestly. that's why he always gets dissolved. Then he aggravates the U.S. Trump need to illuminate and realize he's blowing up people's capillaries and no offense but Trump has the looks of a proboscis.

My grade on my essay is a B-/C+. I think I got this grade because I didn't understand the stories as much as I wanted to and I didn't have much to write. Yes I agree with the grade I earned. The grade I think I earned for this grading period is a C
